SanDisk Corporation is known for its flash-based memory cards. Last year the company announced flash memory cards for handheld gaming consoles. Now SanDisk has announced that it is shipping the Xbox 360 USB Flash Drive for the Xbox 360 console. The flash drive makes things very convenient for gamers looking to take their save games, map packs, Arcade game downloads as well as bonus content with them or transfer the same to another Xbox 360 console.
The Xbox 360 USB Flash Drive has been pre-configured allowing for seamless plug and play. It even does away with the need to format storage or download an initial software update for the console. In addition, the drive comes with a one-month Xbox Live Gold membership.
