Rohit Sharma is the COO of Zapak Digital Entertainment. He commented, “Zapak plans to bring to India some of the world’s best MMOG titles by internationally renowned developers. We plan to introduce at least 5-6 MMOG’s with 2 titles to be launched this year. The first title in the series being ‘Crazy Kart’, a casual racing MMO. After having captured India’s largest database of casual gamers it is now time to graduate the 5 million gamer databases to a casual MMO which is fun and interactive.”

He added, “Also as racing is one of the most popular genres on Zapak.com, we believe Crazy Kart is a strategic fit at this stage for the Indian market and will see early adoption from Casual Gamers. The success we have seen with the closed beta is a reiteration of our beliefs.”

Crazy Kart was running in the closed beta stage in India form August to date and has seen over 50,000 registered users. Zapak claims that some fifteen hundred users are joining in everyday. They believe that the Crazy Kart racing MMO would set a record as it would have the largest distribution network. It will be available in 5000 cafes such as Zapak’s Gameplexes, Reliance Worlds as well as independent cafes across 106 cities in India.
