Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset drenched in Urban Camouflage hue

Sony has been enticing PS3 players right from 2008 onwards as it released its official Bluetooth Headset for the console. It was available either as a standalone or found bundled with the SOCOM: Confrontation package. More recently, the company did however provide gamers with a new version of the device that sported a high-gloss black finish.

Well, it looks like Sony is endowing the Bluetooth Headset fashioned for the PS3 with a new disguise. The audio and voice solution can now be found painted an Urban Camouflage color. According to the official PlayStation blog, the offering is a great addition to engaging multiplayer games such as SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals and Killzone 3. Catering to fans’ requests, the company has endowed the headset with a militaristic color for that added effect.

It offers all the features incorporated within the sleek black model. These include Sony’s High Quality (HQ) mode as well as integrated noise cancellation for an enhanced PS3 voice chat experience. Other attributes come in the form of a microphone mute button that can be easily accessed during the heat of battle and an in-game headset status indicator. Furthermore, this gadget also provides a charging cradle which doubles as a desktop microphone.

The official Urban Camouflage PS3 Bluetooth Headset is priced at 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,256). It is slated to enter GameStop stores all across North America along with the launch of SOCOM 4 which is dated April 19, 2011. The device can be taken complete of while indulging the SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals as the title features 32-player online multiplayer action.
