EA has announced that former University of Florida quarterback, Tim Tebow will be the cover athlete of EA Sports NCAA Football 11. Tim Tebow is thought of as one of the greatest college football players of all time and is an ambassador of college football.
Tebow has a long list of achievements including becoming the first sophomore is history to win the Heisman Trophy. In the same season he became the first player to rush and pass for at least 20 touchdowns in a single season. He’s won the Davey O’Brien Award as the country’s best quarterback, and is only the second player in NCAA history to earn the Maxwell Award on two occasions.
NCAA Football 11 will feature real college offenses and reflect the authentic style of every NCAA FBS school. It achieves new levels of quality in core gameplay and brings Saturday college football intensity.
NCAA Football 11 is developed by EA Tiburon and scheduled to launch on July 13, 2010. Between now and the game’s launch more features will be revealed. The game will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2.
