Twisted Metal Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition Details Revealed by David Jaffe

David Jaffe has created amazing games for Sony consoles. But earlier this year he along with Scott Campbell (of Incognito) formed a new studio called as Eat Sleep Play. One of the games that the studio was working on is the Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition for the PS2.

The game was first released on the PSP and Eat Sleep Play is working on the PS2 version. But Jaffe has explained that they are not a port house. He posted this on the official PlayStation Blog:

Now when SCEA first asked us to make this game, we were a bit hesitant. It was our first game from our brand new company and we didn’t want players to think we were making “just another port.” Eat Sleep Play is a lot of things, but one thing it’s not is a “port house.” But then we started talking and thinking and wondering: what if we could make it so much more? What if we could just stuff the thing to the brim with bonus features and new levels and updated graphics and really give the Twisted Metal franchise a fantastic send-off on the PlayStation 2? And when we thought about it like that, we got really excited.

The official blog also had screenshots, one of which has been posted above. Twisted Metal Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition for the PS2 is expected to have updated graphics as well as new levels. However, there is no word on the exact release date of the game. The game looks great and PS2 gamers will get something amazing to play!
