Assassin’s Creed for PC to Launch in March 2008, says Ubisoft

It has been a few weeks since the console versions of Assassin’s Creed has been launched. Many things have been said about the game, most of it good, some of it bad! Now PC gamers will gear up for Assassin’s Creed as Ubisoft has sent word that the action game will release in the end of March.

John Parkes is the EMEA Marketing Director at Ubisoft. He explains, “We are excited to bring Assassin’s Creed to an eager PC audience and we foresee the game will resonate with them just has it has across the other platforms. Assassin’s Creed is a game that must be experienced firsthand to fully understand how dynamic and meaningful this title has become for video game fans worldwide.”

The patience of PC gamers will be paid off with the PC version of the game, which is called as Assassin’s Creed Director’s Cut Edition. The game has four brand new exclusive types of investigations. This will offer even more ways to the gamers to play around the many locations of the Third Crusade.

Assassin’s Creed has been developed in-house by Ubisoft. The game was released for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 in 2007. The PC version, which releases next month, has been much anticipated by the gamers. A Nintendo DS version of Assassin’s Creed is also expected to release in some time.
