Medal of Honor Limited Edition to Unlock Battlefield 3 Beta

We recently reported about Medal of Honor’s trailer release with the incorporation of a track from Linkin Park’s latest album. Now EA has revealed that Medal of Honor Limited Edition will soon be released in North America. Featuring a colossal arsenal, powerful ammunition and camouflage, the game is said to bring in an all-new experience to the title’s fans. The company has also announced that those who possess this chapter will be invited to the beta for another EA shooter entitled Battlefield 3.

This title will boost gaming experience as it allows players to draw tactical gameplay with advanced weapons and disguises from the very first day itself. The new chapter infuses real life-like experiences for gamers by incorporating unique content such as MP-7. This weapon is stated to be employed by real-world Tier 1 Operation in the battle field. The light weight, high rate of fire and its capacity to break through the body armor makes players fight with a weapon which can be handled like a pistol and used as a rifle.

This edition also comprises of two powerful shotguns with customs slugs. It has been said that gamers can utilize shotguns and ammunitions to strike enemies down in close-range areas. This would be especially exciting for players as they will now have to face their enemies in the rugged terrain of Afghanistan. For the first time in 11 years, Medal of Honor steps outside its World War II background to depict the present day war torn Afghanistan.

The all-new Medal of Honor gameplay trailer featuring ‘The Catalyst’ from Linkin Park’s yet-to-be released album A Thousand Suns will release tomorrow. The game will release on October 12, 2010 in the North America while European gamers will be able to load the title on their PS3, Xbox 360 and PC screens from October 15, 2010. The pricing details have not been divulged yet.
