July 4 is Independence Day in America, and what better way for Rockstar to celebrate, than by giving fans of its Wild West title a multiplayer treat. Both PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers will be able to grab a Quadruple XP for Red Dead Redemption, throughout this weekend.
The update will let players of all online multiplayer modes like the Free Roam and Undead Overrun in Undead Nightmare earn four times the experience points during this extended holiday weekend. While Rockstar’s L.A. Noire is confirmed to make a PC appearance somewhere in the future, the developers are yet to make any such announcements regarding this game.
Recently a tweet by the developers also revealed that DLC for the game is on its way ‘in the coming weeks.’
The Red Dead Redemption Quadruple XP event which began yesterday will run until 11:59 pm Eastern on July 4 for PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers.
