In December 2007, Capcom got all the fans of the Street Fighter series excited when they announced that Street Fighter IV was in development. Though they didn’t reveal the exact release date of the game, there were speculations that Street Fighter IV would be launched sometime in 2009.
But now it has emerged that the fighting game would apparently release this year itself! Gaming news website Gamespot is reporting that Capcom has confirmed to them that Street Fighter IV for the consoles would be definitely out in winter 2008. Capcom also revealed that the game would be released in Europe roughly at the same time it releases in North America.
Street Fighter IV has been developed in-house by Capcom. The fighting game is expected to release for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC platforms. The PC version of SF IV is expected to release after the console versions are launched.
