Street Fighter IV is critically, the highly acclaimed fighting title from Capcom, and earlier Mad Catz came out with a FightStick and Fight Pad for the game. Now Mad Catz Interactive has announced a Limited Edition ‘Femme Fatale’ Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition. The line will be available from September 4 to September 6, 2009 at the Capcom booth at the 2009 Penny-Arcade Exposition. The hardware will also be available from the Capcom online store and the Mad Catz online store from September 4, 2009.
Speaking on the Femme Fatale design, Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz said, “The Street Fighter community has demonstrated its enthusiasm for our range and has been vocal in requesting specific character-based designs. The female pugilists in Street Fighter IV feature some of the games most memorable and graceful imagery and we are pleased to honor these timeless characters with a limited edition FightStick which does justice to these iconic fighters.”
The collectible item features Action Buttons, packaging and artwork characteristic and exclusive to the Femme Fatale design. There will only be 650 units for the Xbox 360 and 350 units for the PS3, and each unit will be sequentially numbered separately for the two systems. The artwork is the result of very close collaboration between Mad Catz and Capcom and features fan-favorites, Crimson Viper, Chun-Li, Rose, Cammy and Sakura.
The Mad Catz Limited Edition Femme Fatale Street Fighter IV Arcade FightStick: Tournament Edition for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3 will be priced at 159.99 USD (approx. Rs. 7,790) each. The units will be available until stock lasts and only two per customer will be handed out, beginning September 4, 2009.
