Microsoft’s Project Natal is set to do something to the way people pay games and interact with the console, if what Microsoft says is to be believed. Recently there was even rumour that Microsoft was developing some kind of universal video capture for all games on the Xbox 360 console. Now in an OXM interview with Mark Rein, Vice President of Epic Games, it has been revealed that all of Epic Games’ future titles will support the Natal technology.
“We always want to have something that exploits the unique capabilities of a platform,” Mark Rein told the website. “I think everyone will do something that exploits Natal once it’s out there and everyone has it. So will people be able to benefit from it? Yes. And then if they want to make that ‘oh my god’ really cool Natal experience, well, we got the engine for that. I’m pretty psyched about it.”
Rein also believes that the Natal technology could go perfectly with more hardcore games such as Gears of War and Call of Duty, especially when it comes to throwing grenades or signaling friends in the game.
