“With more than 600 million pieces of content downloaded to date, consumers are turning to PlayStation Network more than ever for digitally distributed entertainment content,” Peter Dille, senior vice president of Marketing and PlayStation Network, commented. “We are excited to team with Amazon.com to expand our reach with Amazon’s market leading ability to target current and future PlayStation consumers.”

PlayStation Network games can be digitally accessed via a code redemption system. Now Amazon customers can purchase these codes and use them when they want to purchase a PSN game or game-related content. The code will apparently reside in the customer’s Your Games & Software Library, making it easy to retrieve at any time.
