Nintendo DSi users can get their hands on loads of applications and games through the DSi Shop. The portable gaming console is the third iteration of the DS system. It initially was only available in shades of black and blue. The company revealed earlier this month that gamers could soon grab the Nintendo DSi in two more colors namely pink and white.
It is now revealed by NintendoLife that items from the DSi Shop cannot be transferred from an original console to the new colored ones. According to the site, this has been a question that was constantly plaguing customers and fans of the Nintendo DSi. Confirmation of the information was bestowed from the concerned people at Nintendo Australia.
But all is not lost; there are a few exceptions to the policy. The purchases made from the original console will be transferred to the other only if the system is experiencing malfunction. They will be able to know which content is downloaded to the DSi through special kits. The people at Nintendo Australia said that in order for the transfer to happen, they must have both the portable gaming systems.
