Pokémon fans were enticed earlier this month with PokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure for the Nintendo Wii. Now The Pokémon Company International along with Nintendo of America is now offering the Enigma Stone allowing players to catch the Legendary Pokémon Latias or Latios if they’re lucky enough to do so.
This limited distribution is takes place through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service and is open to gamers who possess the Pokémon HeartGold and Pokémon SoulSilver Versions. These players should also have wireless broadband Internet access.
During gameplay, Pokémon meet with the Enigma Stone will all be at Level 40. When players exchange the coveted stone, they will in turn receive the Soul Dew which has the ability to power up the Special Defense and Special Attack of the Legendary Pokémon Latios and Latias.
The mystery of the Enigma Stone can only be unraveled by those players who have defeated the Elite Four and acquired the National Pokédex. Fans must also be in possession of two or fewer Wonder Cards if they want to capture the coveted Latios or Latias for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions respectively.
The Limited Wi-Fi Distribution begins today and will run through August 27, 2010.
