Batman: Arkham Asylum is the stealth action video game from Eidos for the Xbox 360 and PS3, with a PC version on the way. Now we have word that the Games for Windows Live version of Batman: Arkham Asylum has been given a global release date and will be coming this week. The Games for Windows Live version features Nvidia PhysX technology.
The game takes players to Gotham City’s psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane, Arkham Asylum, where they will face unarmed and armed inmates, as well as crazy lunatics running wild on the island asylum. A wide range of gadgets are featured in the game, and players must use the Dark Knight’s stealth capabilities to instill fear in the hearts of their opponents.
Batman: Arkham Asylum for Games for Windows Live will be available worldwide starting from Friday, September 18, 2009. The PC version is expected to retail for 49.99 USD (approx. Rs. 2,435). The game is published by Eidos under license from DC comics.
Update: E-Xpress Interactive has informed us that the PC version of Batman: Arkham Asylum will also release in India on September 18, 2009 and will be priced at Rs. 699.
