Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD Coming to PC This Summer

Prior to the latest announcement by Activision, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD was only scheduled for a PSN and Xbox Live launch, but it has now been confirmed that the game will indeed be released on PC. The title’s Twitter feed was used to make this known recently, and while a launch date hasn’t been revealed yet, it will certainly be coming out this summer.

It is being created currently by Robomodo, a studio known to have developed 2009’s Tony Hawk: Ride as well as 2010’s Tony Hawk: Shred.

A new addition to the remake is the introduction of online multiplayer which will provide support for up to 4 gamers. And of course, leaderboards will also be included within the title. While its PSN version is still to receive a definite release date, its Xbox Live version, it has been announced, will come out via Microsoft’s annual Summer of Arcade sale on July 18, 2012.

Other games that form part of the promotion include Wreckateer, Deadlight, Hybrid and Dust: An Elysian Tail. Those who buy any three of these titles will be rewarded with 400 Microsoft Points. Tony Hawk’s PS HD will sell on Xbox Live at 1200 Microsoft Points.
