DJ Hero is the innovative music-based game which uses a turntable controller allowing players to scratch, mix, and crossfade. Up until now the only way to get your hands on a turntable controller was to buy the game, with which it came bundled. But Activision Publishing has announced that a standalone turntable controller is now available from the Guitar Hero Store.
In DJ Hero’s multiplayer modes two players can mix and scratch together on multiple turntable controllers, or using one turntable controller and one Guitar Hero guitar controller, while yet another player can jump in at any time on the mic. And with all the budding DJs, the inclusion of a DJ vs. DJ competitive mode in DJ Hero just seemed like a natural fit.
The DJ Hero standalone wireless turntable controllers for the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii are available for a price of 69.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,235) each. Developed by FreeStyleGames, DJ Hero is available for Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Wii, while there is even a Renegade Edition of the game.
