After announcing a relaunch of the title back in August this year, Mad Catz has finally outed its own Rock Band 3 Bundles which can now be purchased by gamers in North America. Along with the guitar peripherals, these bundles also include download codes for five songs by Red Hot Chili Peppers and a copy of the acclaimed title.
A total of five different bundles have been revealed so far, the first among them being the Fender Mustang Pro-Guitar Controller bundle. This new peripheral has apparently been crafted so as to allow gamers to learn real guitar techniques, while playing the title. Next is the Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller bundle, which includes an upgraded version of this original controller, that now features an improved set of fret buttons on the base of its neck.
The remaining three bundles are offered with the same peripherals, but with each of them sporting different colors. Dubbed the Fender Precision Bass Guitar bundles, these guitars come dipped in red, white and green colors. A notable feature on this peripheral is that it comes with a dual/split Strum Bar design, a whammy dial and an additional set of fret buttons for this bass to double up as a normal guitar.
Each of the above mentioned Rock Band 3 bundles are also packed with guitar straps and three AA batteries, with only the Fender Mustang Pro-Guitar Controller bundle coming with 2 guitar picks. The five downloadable tracks by Red Hot Chili Peppers include Californication, Under the Bridge, By the Way, Otherside and The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie, the latter one being from their latest album released earlier this year.
All the Rock Band 3 bundles are now available for purchase via Amazon, GameStop and other retailers in North America. While the Fender Mustang Pro-Guitar Controller bundle retails at 149.99 USD (approx. Rs. 7,835), the Fender Stratocaster Guitar Controller bundle can be bought at 69.99 USD (approx. Rs. 3,656). On the other hand, all three of the Fender Precision Bass Guitar bundles are available at 79.99 USD (approx. Rs. 4,178) each.
