NBA Jam Hits Stores for Xbox 360, PS3

EA Sports has been on a roller coaster ride alongside its basketball simulation franchise. In early October, the company delayed the release of its much-awaited NBA Elite 11 for an infinite period. Later in the month, NBA Jam which was expected to tag along with the previously mentioned title saw the light of day for the Wii. It was then announced that the game will soon pave its way to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The gaming giant has now released NBA Jam for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. Displaying gameplay in HD quality video, the title features online play in two unique modes dubbed Classic Campaign and Remix Tour. The former travels back in the classic era of the sport for a traditional Jam experience as players take on all 30 teams in the tournament. As the name of the second mode suggests, conventional play has been infused with a thrilling twist which covers boss battle challenges and half-court games.

With Tim Kitzrow on board once again as the legendary announcer, the game retains classic elements of the original NBA Jam. In addition, unparalleled player characterization with distinct reactions and likeness along with the online Jam Party feature spice up the ball game. Besides, players can ascend their status in Online Progression while unlocking exclusive rewards and hidden content.

NBA Jam is now available across North America, Europe and Asia for the Xbox 360 as well as PS3 for 29.99 GBP (approx. Rs. 2,138).
